About this vintage design furniture
The mid-century amber Murano chandelier, Mazzega by Toni Zuccheri, was made in Italy in the 1970s. Although the lamp is unsigned, we are sure of its heritage: the shape and materials used, from blown Murano glass to chrome, are typical Mazzega. AV Mazzega was founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio Mazzega. Over the years, Mazzega has worked with many internationally renowned designers such as De Lucchi, Piva, Zuccheri. The most famous is Carlo Nason who grew up in one of the oldest families of Murano glass makers. The glass pieces are made of thick blown Murano glass with amazing colors. Each plate is unique because it is handmade. The lamp requires 8 E14 bulbs (not included). Excellent vintage condition. The metal has a natural patina. The total height of the chandelier is 95 cm. Electrical wiring replaced by a professional electrician.
