About this vintage design furniture
Nice set of 5 dining chairs in a new velvet upholstery and after a complete restoration. The chairs were designed by Oswald Haerdtl for TON (Thonet) in the 1950s, produced in Czechoslovakia.Typical mid-century design. Backrest made of curved plywood, legs lacquered in the dark shade of oak with matte finish. The backrest and seat have been newly upholstered in a beautiful teal velvet (Magic velvet) that perfectly complements the dark wood. The combination is strong and very elegant. A solid and stable chair with a comfortable seat. Seat height 45cm.
