Scandinavian hand-painted walnut armoire, 1960

This modernist tall cabinet was made in Scandinavia in the 1960s. The cabinet was finished with high quality walnut wood with a dark, noble color and distinctive graining. The front consists of three sliding doors. Two of them are decorated with hand painting in shades of blue. There are shelves inside. The base consists of oblique and modernist legs.The cabinet has been partially renovated, respecting the natural patina and according to the rules of art Upcycled Vintage. This item is a vintage piece that has been modified from its original state by artistic interventions, such as hand-painted finishes or compositions of pieces from different original vintage objects. The shape is original and comes from the 20th century. All works were made using traditional methods and support the idea of zero waste.
