Vintage dining chair by "Jadran" Tmn Zagreb

This dining chair stands out because of its beautiful new red color and new upholstery. The chairs are renovated. Jadran d.d. TMN, the industry of metal furniture was established in 1946 in Zagreb under the name Industry of metal furniture and children strollers. In 1953 the name was changed in Jadran and in 1954 their assortment became wider. In 1975 the industry of wooden furniture Lepa from Lepoglava became a part of it. Chairs are inspired by the Carimata chair designed by Vico Magistretti in 1959. Carimata chairs were initially produced by Cassina. Originally with a handwoven rush seat, available in natural beech wood or with a red or black stain.
