About this vintage design furniture
This rare Space Age table lamp from the ‘Membrane’ series was designed by Toni Zuccheri in the 1960’s. The lamp consists of a milky and crystal Murano glass globe which creates a beautiful partition when combined with the light source. The large glass sphere is supported by a chrome plated base and stands on a marble foot. The marble has some small chips, otherwise the lamp remains in a very good original condition. Made by Venini in Italy.

About the designer
Toni ZUCCHERI
Aldo Zuccheri was an Italian designer who was born in Milan in 1928 and died in 2009. He is best known for his work in the 1960s for the famous Italian glass brand Venini, where he created many innovative, sculptural glass objects that were shown at international exhibitions.
