Vintage sideboard with counterweight drawers model 29A by Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture, Denmark 1950

A rare and iconic sideboard (Model 29A) designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture. This beautiful sideboard features an asymmetrical design with two reversible sliding doors (black and teak) and counterbalanced drawers, organically shaped to avoid the use of handles. The curved drawers and reversible doors highlighted in this sideboard are a signature of the designer. It also has a fully veneered back, so it can be used as a room divider. The sideboard is in very good condition with minimal wear for its age. Made in Denmark.
