A rare pair of vintage side tables or sofa chests signed by Jean-Claude Mahey for Romeo Paris made in the 1970s. Fully white lacquered with a wide brass base, these tables have a very nice presence. Both signed, with a large storage niche for books or bottles, they have been fully restored and relacquered, and are in superb condition.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
