About this vintage design furniture
A rare colour vintage model of Kukkapuro’s classic ’Karulselli’ chair. The chair revolves 360 degrees on a star shaped base. The colour is a cognac brown. The seat is 39cm high at the front and 27cm at its lowest point. All original upholstery which shows a few signs of age as would be expected. the fiberglass shell is in very good condition although does have a few old marks as shown.

About the designer
Yrjö KUKKAPURO
Yrjö Kukkapuro is a Finnish designer born in 1933. He studied at the Helsinki Institute of Industrial Art and began his career working for the Haimi furniture company in 1959. In 1964, he set up his own design studio, Studio Kukkapuro, where he designed functional and innovative furniture that won several international awards.
