About this vintage design furniture
This set of four dining chairs was produced by famous Thonet brand around 1940s – parts of original labels and stamps still preserved. The chairs have been completely restored. The wooden surface got a refreshed finish in shellac polish and wax that protects the wood. This set has been reupholstered in high-quality fabric from Kvadrat brand – „Sisu” is a checked upholstery designed by the celebrated designer Nanna Ditzel, which links to the iconic textile Hallingdal she created for Kvadrat in 1965. The textile is woven with thick, voluminous woollen yarns and features a bold yet subtle, checked pattern.
