About this vintage design furniture

A lovely easy chair from the Netherlands, manufactured by Gispen and designed by W.H. Gispen around 1950. This chair, model “412”, is an iconic Dutch design and highly recognizable Gispen piece. The chrome plated, tubular metal frame gives it a nice, bauhaus like style. The design of the frame gives it a floating appearance It’s rounded shapes and black armrests add nicely to style and comfort. This eye-catching piece still has the original soft, tufted fabric upholstery in a nice beige colour. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
