About this vintage design furniture
This is a rare “Bumper” Table by Dutch designer Martin Visser, manufactured by ‘t Spectrum in the Netherlands around 1960. This is one of Visser’s most unique pieces, designed as a modern version of a baroque table design. The chrome plated metal tripod structure has a unique shape that’s symmetrical and therefore reversible. This idea has been used again in later designs and became an iconic example by this famous Dutch mid-century designer. This makes this table a wonderful find and a piece of design history The large round, white marble top works very well for the tables appearance and gives it an amazing sense of luxury and elegance. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
