During this period he created some of the factory's most beautiful pieces and all-time classics... Per Lütken's work is still very much appreciated. Lütken's arrival at Holmegaard marked, in many ways, a new beginning in the history of the factory originally founded in 1823. Per LÜTKEN
Per Lütken was a Danish glass designer born on March 17, 1916 in Copenhagen and died on July 19, 1998 in Holte, Denmark. He is best known for his work as senior designer at Holmegaard, a Danish glass company, from 1942 until his death.
