About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Danish architect-designer Bent Karlby and produced by Lyfa in the 1960s, the "Trenta" is a multi-layered pendant light with a perspex (plastic) core that produces glare-free but effective illumination. This is with out a doubt one of the rarer lights by Karlby. Measuring 35 cm in diameter and with a height of 18 cm, the "Trenta" was produced in three different colors (as shown in the original advertisement reproduced), of which this is the dark red version. Good overall condition with some mild scratches and som dark stains on one side as seen in the pictures. Nu dents or damage to the plastic core. Standard E 27 light bulb socket.
