About this vintage design furniture

An award-winning wooden chair designed in 1952 by architect, multi-disciplinary artist and designer, Max Bill. This Iconic chair was manufactured by Horgen-Glarus in Switzerland, and stands out with a black lacquered crossed frame structure that provides extra support to the seat, therefore creating static stability and comfort. The seat and backrest is made of thermoformed multilayered wood. The chair is in good authentic condition with some heavy signs of wear and splashes of paint as shown in pictures. Signed with the manufacturer’s label on the underside of the seat.
