Edwardian vintage two-seat bench with fan shaped backrest

Charming occasional two-seat bench, settee, love seat, salon sofa or parlour settee in the Art Nouveau, Edwardian style. Lightly curved backrest with pierced fan shaped back splats. On cabriole legs with pegged joints, a scalloped apron and double stretcher. Firm, upholstered seat in a caramel coloured faux leather finished with upholstery tack or stud strip. This period piece is made from solid oak that’s developed a lovely, warm patina over time. In good original condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
