About this vintage design furniture

This bookcase was manufactured in the 1960s. It was produced by a famous Danish manufacturer, Hundevad, after a project by a great Danish designer, Carlo Jensen.The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. The legs are in solid wood, stained black. The surface has been refreshed. The interior space has been filled with four practical shelves with height adjustment. The bookcase is an ideal solution for having a large collection of books or collectibles in a small living space. Another highlight is the versatile bar, inside which are two adjustable shelves and four drawers. Key included. The cabinet has three holes in the back wall for cables.Condition: The surface of the cabinet after a refresh. Minor scratches and marks are visible. More significant signs of use are still shown in the photos. Product ready to be used. For safety reasons, the furniture legs can be unscrewed and the shelves removed for transport. About the designer

Carlo JENSEN

1912 - 1989

Carlo Jensen was a Danish industrial designer who was born in 1913 and died in 2001. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Architecture and began his career as a furniture designer. He worked for companies such as Fritz Hansen and designed iconic chairs and tables.
