Mid-century modernist brass wall light, 1930s

This is a Modernist Wall light produced in 1930's and is in it’s original condition. It's a lovely reminder of the elegant times of the past but at the same time the light is still as modern and striking as it was when it was first produced some 90 years ago. The wall light consists of a quite large cylinder shaped milk glass tube which is supported on each side by a brass holder in a shape of letter J. The brass base itself is screwed into a slightly bigger wooden base in a dark colour. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with some minor natural wear gained over the years on the brass holders and the base. All parts are original and fully functional.
