Vintage gold plated metal coffee table by Belgochrom, Belgium 1970

Square coffee table in 23 karat gold plated metal with 2 glass tops. The lower leaf is smoked mirror glass and the upper leaf is clear glass.The frame has remarkable chamfered corners.The height of the table is 37 cm, the length and width is 59.5 x 59.5 cm.The lower glass is 13 cm high, the thickness of this glass is 4 mm and this glass rests in the frame and is removable. The upper glass is 9 mm thick and rests on the frame, it is very stable thanks to the small suction cups of the frame (these are original). The item is in good condition, it shows only very slight signs of use.The table was produced by Belgochrom in Belgium in the 1970's.Belgochrom is famous for its quality products in brass or gold metal, often in the Hollywood Regency style.
