About this vintage design furniture
This solid teak chair by Erik Kirkegaard has stunning carpentry craftsmanship from the 1950s. The rounded sculpture backrest curves into each armrest and is attached to the frame by a unique joint. The chair is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use. The solid teak frame has been refreshed with an additional coat of Danish Oil and the seat was reupholstered with high quality black leather. Seat hight: 43cm Armrest height: 68cm

Erik KIRKEGAARD
Erik Kirkegaard (1925-1982) was a Danish designer known for his work on wooden and rattan furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and worked for several Danish furniture manufacturers.
