Mid-century highboard desk by Schreiber, 1970s

Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schreiber, Schreiber furniture is an interesting British success story. The Company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 1970’S, rivalling G Plan, Stag and other well known names, with stores all across the UK. This is a rare highboard with drop down desk top. With the distinctive Schreiber recessed mounted handles and rich formica laminate woodgrain throughout. Size Width 81cm x depth 41cm x height 112cm x counter height 72cm Condition: Excellent mid century condition.
