Vintage metal cups Port and Sarria by Lluis Clotet for Alessi

These items have been gently cleaned while respecting the vintage patina and are ready to be used. Pair of vintage round baskets by Lluis Clotet: the 'Port' (large model) 90085 is dated 2001 and the 'Sarria' (small model) 90084 is dated 2000. Lluis Clotet is particularly active in the field of architecture and has produced a number of interesting designs of objects. Fascinated by the playful crumpling of a silver paper tray, he has reproduced the effect in a successful mini-series of trays and baskets, in which the crumpled edge is achieved using a complex cold-pressing technique in a single operation. These examples are executed in quality 1810 stainless steel with a smooth polished finish. The Port bowl is stamped on the back: "ALESSI ITALY INOX 1810 LLUIS CLOTET 2001" The Sarria bowl is stamped on the back: "ALESSI INOX 1810 ITALY LLUIS CLOTET 2000" These bowls are in overall very good vintage condition. The surfaces are smooth and highly reflective, with a light patina of use consistent with age and wear, as are a few small surface marks and some rubbing in the lower areas. Additional dimensions: The dimensions of the 'Porto' bowl are: Height: 6 cm, Width: 37 cm, Depth: 37 cm. The dimensions of the 'Sarria' bowl are: Height: 6,5 cm, Width: 27,5 cm, Depth: 27,5 cm. The packaging is free of charge. We take special professional care of the packaging. For safe transportation, both bowls are wrapped in bubble wrap and foam.
