About this vintage design furniture
CARIMATE Red Armchair by Vico Magistretti, manufactured by Cassina in Italy in 1960s. The iconic Carimate chair was designed by influential designer & architect Vico Magistretti in 1959 for the Club House of the Carimate Golf Club in Lombardy. It was sold in the UK through Sir Terence Conran’s Habitat throughout the 1960s, and still exhibits in the MoMA in New York. The chairs are in lovely vintage condition, with green beech frame and natural wear. The rush seats are in perfect condition.
