About this vintage design furniture
A wonderful set of six “209” chairs, designed by Thonet in 1930 and recently produced by Fameg in Poland. The chairs are made of beautiful quality, deep brown bentwood. Nicely bent into shape, which is iconic for the Thonet designs The rounded seats compliment their curved style nicely, all together adding a wonderful sense of elegance to the pieces. They were produced by Fameg in the original Thonet factory. The chairs are labeled in the frame as shown in photos. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
