About this vintage design furniture

A stunning sideboard model DU03 from the Japanese series designed by Cees Braakman, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands, circa 1950. This iconic and much sought-after piece of Dutch design is made from the highest quality teak wood on a black lacquered metal base. It has square black grips, giving it a highly recognizable, eye-catching appearance. It would make an outstanding addition to any Mid-Century Modern interior. The DU-03 is a very large model, with four drawer units and four doors, revealing lots of storage space while maintaining it’s beautiful modern style. It remains in very good, original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
