About this vintage design furniture
This tobacco-colored Montis Loge armchair with Ottoman is coming in excellent condition. The soft, brown leather shows hardly any signs of wear, the ottoman is also in perfect condition. The designer pieces that are reminiscent of the 1930s were designed by the Dutch designer Gerard van den Berg in the 80s. Montis is a Dutch manufacturer that has committed itself to special designer furniture. It was co-founded by Gerard van den Berg in 1974 and most of the products show his signature.

Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
