About this vintage design furniture
Vase in Murano glass "Sommerso" attributed to Flavio Poli. - Sommerso" is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s and was very popular in the 1950s and 1970s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours which is usually surrounded by a transparent layer. Colors: red and yellow. Very good original condition.

About the designer
Flavio POLI
Flavio Poli (1900-1984) was a renowned Italian designer, known for his work in glass. Born in Chioggia, near Venice, Poli studied at the Institute of Applied Arts in Venice, where he developed a passion for blown glass.
