About this vintage design furniture
This spectacular and rare floor lamp signed by the architects De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi was produced by the company Zonca in Italy from 1973 to 76 only. Two long chromed arms of almost 2 m each, articulated and provided with counterweights, allow to orientate it in all the directions, even the head which supports the standard bulb, powerful although in 12v (low tension), turns on itself to 360, you can choose to illuminate the ceiling or the floor. The switch, at the foot, contains the transformer and the base, black, is very heavy and stable (note some scratches and dents)... In very good condition.

The Italian design trio of De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi were three close friends who met while studying at Milan's Polytechnic Institute in the 1960s.
