A day bed or sofa by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen France & Søn. Denmark, c1960s. Stamped to teak frame. Ideal wooden canvas for upholstery (we can arrange in house upon request). Good condition, some wear commensurate with age. Location: Belgium Gallery. Dimensions: 192 W x 76 D x 81 H in cm. Delivery: POA We can ship around the world. About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
