About this vintage design furniture
Ruska is one of the timeless offerings of Finland Arabia - the Finnish ceramics factory founded in 1873 by Rörstrand, now owned by Fiskars.It was designed by artist Ulla Procope, one of the most important creators of the so-called Golden Age of Finnish design.The Ruska series became one of the best-selling in its history.Due to its popularity, its production continued in 1990.It became a classic of Scandinavian design.For the first time, a matte glaze was used.In addition to the straight lines, the series is characterized by a brown and heterogeneous color.An extremely elegant mottled effect was achieved, which gives the vases in the collection a unique character.The tableware in the collection has a pleasant surface to the touch.
