About this vintage design furniture
An armchair designed by Sigvard Bernadotte and manufactured by France and son. Sigvard Bernadotte was the uncle of Margrethe the 2nd, Queen of Denmark. With newly upholstered yellow coloured fabric. Designed and handwoven in London by Robyn Underwood. Fabric is 100 lambs wool. Manufacturer - France and Son Designer - Sigvard Bernadotte Design Period - 1960 to 1969 Style - Vintage, Mid-Century Detailed Condition - Good Restoration and Damage Details - Teak has been restored. Chair is newly upholstered in fabric made in London.

About the designer
Sivgard BERNADOTTE
Sigvard Bernadotte, born January 24, 1907 in Stockholm and died February 4, 2002 in Küssnacht am Rigi, Switzerland, was a Swedish industrial designer. He was also Prince of Sweden, son of Prince Wilhelm of Sweden and the Russian Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia.
