About this vintage design furniture
A set of two lounge chairs by Alf Svensson for Dux. Made and designed in Sweden in the 1960’s. This lounge chair is model 013 and is in contrast to many other of his items made of metal. This gives the chair a more robust appearance and is not often seen in mid-century Scandinavian design. These chairs were sold by Artifort in the Netherlands. This is why they are sometimes credited to Artifort. The chairs have recently been reupholstered in a graphic black and white fabric by Kvadrat and leatherette or vinyl.
