About this vintage design furniture
Lucerna RAB 1 Floor lamp designed by Luigi Massoni for Harvey Guzzini in 1966. This Mid-Century design lamp was made in the early seventies. The shade is adjustable in height by means of an adjusting screw and gives very nice light. This floor lamp is in very good original condition, some normal traces of use and wear. The Plexiglas shade is still in good condition, no cracks or defects. Material: chromed metal, iron and acrylic plexiglass lampshade. Dimensions: h x d 165 x 46 cm. There are two Bakelite E27 screw bulb holders in the hood. Marked: Guzzini spa, made in Italy (see photos). Source: Catalogue Guzzini Meblo, 1970. Now a sought-after design classic.

About the designer
Luigi MASSONI
Luigi Massoni was an Italian designer born in Milan in 1930 and died in 1991. After studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, he began his career as an industrial designer in the 1950s. He worked for many prestigious Italian brands, including Guzzini, Alessi, Poltrona Frau and Boffi.
