About this vintage design furniture
The “MK16” Safari chair is designed and manufactured by Mogens Koch in Denmark around 1930. The chair has an eye-catching style with a folding base, is a fantastic find of mid-century design The frame is made of high quality tropical hardwood, the seat and back are made of black leather which is also used for the sling armrests. It’s style seems like a combination of a safari chair and a director’s chair, creating a unique style with high end materials for a wonderful sense of luxury Sold individually. Though they could also make a fantastic set Please check latest stock info above. Each chair remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
