Vintage solid teak lamp stand, Denmark 1960

Fantastic solid teak table lamp base made in Denmark, mid-century circa 60's. The design resembles the shape of a bowling pin or bottle, with rich, warm colors, beautiful lines and wood grain that match other Scandinavian designs of that era perfectly. The original brass socket, has a bakelite switch, as well as a ring for attaching a shade (see photos.) The original cord and European plug (up to 250V) are also present (see photo.) Under the lamp base, there is an original green felt piece (see photo.) The lamp is in beautiful, original, vintage condition, with very slight traces, age and use marks commensurate with the time, and a nice patina of time on the body (see photos.), there are some slight marks that appear to be natural parts of the wood, as the lamp is made of one piece of wood (see photos). The piece is solid, stable and works well with a B-22 bayonet bulb. It has only been lightly dusted and oiled, respecting the original patina.
