Vintage "Big Diamond" armchair by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International, Usa 1970

An iconic lounge chair designed by Harry Bertoia, manufactured by Knoll International in the USA around 1970. This iconic piece is named the “Big Diamond”, after the bent diamond shape of the seat. Made of chrome plated wire metal on a tubular metal base. The seat is upholstered in beautiful bright orange fabric, which contrasts nicely to the clean material of the base. The curved shapes of the seat provides a really nice seating comfort which is nicely complimented by the upholstery. A beautiful piece that will definitely draw the attention in any decor It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
