About this vintage design furniture
Two Durotherm casseroles, capacities 3 litres and 2 litres. Chromed steel, pewter handles. Swiss manufacture, Kuhn Rikon. Circa 1976. --- 3 liters : Height : 18 cm - Length : 36 cm - Width : 26 cm - Weight : 2,800 kg 2 liters : Height: 15 cm - Length: 36 cm - Width: 26 cm - Weight: 2,500 kg --- Founded in 1926 by Heinrich Kuhn-Boller, the Heinrich Kuhn Metallwarenfabrik developed its Duro brand of kitchen utensils. In 1976, the company launched the world's first double-walled cookware (Durotherm), which was patented worldwide and stimulated its international expansion. In 2001, the company changed its name from Heinrich Kuhn Metallwarenfabrik to its current name Kuhn Rikon AG.
