About this vintage design furniture
8-light chandelier "Paquebot" from the House of Arlus. Globes in " Perspex ". Brass structure. Circa 1960. --- Arlus is a French lighting editor active since the beginning of the 1950s. Associated with the modern movement by its achievements close to those of the first French designers, Arlus has notably popularized the use of lacquered tubular metal or brass in the creation of lighting. --- One of the pictures shows the chandelier in the "Mad Men" series
