About this vintage design furniture
Storage furniture signed Minvielle from the 50's, Editor : ARP (Atelier de Recherche Plastique), founded in 1954 by Pierre Guariche, Michel Mortier and Joseph-André Motte, meeting of three friends and young designers. The furniture is composed of 4 boxes to which other modules can be added, this is the principle of Minvielle furniture. Here 1 box with black tinted glass that slides, 1 box niche, 1 box chest of 3 drawers and 1 box with closet door. The structure is made of teak wood. In the glass cabinets and the cupboard there is a removable shelf with 3 possibilities of height. The piece of furniture has been completely restored, note the traces still visible on the left side, on the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers and the right handle of the last drawer of the chest of drawers whose black plastic axis is broken (see photos). Black matte lacquered metal legs.
