Set of Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen Model 39 by Soren Willadsen in Denmark, 1960 A mid-century armchair by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen leather and rosewood, Danish 1960s A beautiful armchair with backrest in leather and rosewood designed by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen for Soren Willadsens in Denmark in the 1960s. Beautiful black color on the original patinated leather upholstery, nicely complemented by the rosewood base. A striking design by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen a prominent Danish designer of the period and made by Soren Willadsens a famous manufacturer who also produced work by Finn Juhl and Nanna Ditzel. About the designer
Kofod LARSEN
Kofod Larsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1921 and died in 1991. He began his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker and later studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He worked for several renowned design companies in Europe before founding his own design firm in 1950.
