About this vintage design furniture

Mid-century modern Scandinavian Danish vintage design free standing rosewood writing office desk, model 75. Designed with great craftsmanship by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Mobelfabrik in Denmark in the 1950s. This desk features a floating top with a double set of three equal drawers underneath. One of the top drawers has a small organizer fitted in it for holding small items such as pens or paper clips. Each of the top drawers lock with ease to secure any work or items you want to keep out of sight. One key present. The back of this writing desk contains two equal open storage compartments and one lockable compartment as well as a small bookshelf. The desk is suspended on beautiful carved A frame legs. Finished on al sides for 360 use the desk is conserved in a superb condition.

Gunni OMANN

Gunni Omann (1928-2016), also known as Omann Jun, was a renowned Danish designer and cabinetmaker. He is best known for his teak furniture of the 1950s and 1960s, which have become icons of modern Danish design.
