About this vintage design furniture

Consists of two independent modules that can stand together or completely independent. High quality in all details, very similar to Gio Ponti's designs from the same period. Made of teak with brass ornaments and black varnished metal main rails. The back is also veneered, making it a perfect room divider. The adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors such as tiles, old wooden floors, etc. Module 1 consists of: a chest of drawers with 4 drawers and a cabinet with doors H: 49.5 cm W: 79 cm D: 35 cm; drawer height: 10 cm. a cabinet with 3 drawers and an open shelf H: 38 cm W: 79 cm D: 35 cm; drawer height: 10 cm a shelf 35 cm deep Module two consists of : - a wardrobe with sliding doors H 39.5cm W: 79.5cm D: 35cm - a wardrobe with sliding doors H: 60cm W: 79,5cm D: 35cm a shelf 35 cm deep Dimension of the single module: H: 222 cm W: 85 cm D: 35 cm Excellent original condition with very slight signs of use.

Gio PONTI

1891 - 1979

Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
