About this vintage design furniture

Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen commissioned him to design lamps for different room sizes. In addition, installation, light source replacement, and maintenance were to be easy. Initially, Wohlert was called Sattelite on the Danish market, now the international name was changed to Wohlert from the name of the designer. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The matte glass surface provides an even and diffused light. The hole in the lower part of the luminaire gives direct downward light. Lamps are still in production today. Dimensions diameter: 30cm height 32cm The lamps are in perfect condition, they have been thoroughly cleaned, a new approx. A 2-meter long braided cable has been installed. A roof lining is attached to each lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.

Vilhelm Wohlert was a Danish designer born in Copenhagen on May 10, 1920 and died on May 10, 2007. Best known for his work in architecture and interior design, he was a key member of the Danish modernist movement.
