About this vintage design furniture

Black mid-century Gispen 413 armchair designed by Willem Hendrik Gispen for Gispen in 1937. This is an original old version from the late 1950s. Compared to model 413R, the frame of no. 413 is lower and leans a bit more back, resulting in a comfortable seating experience. The chrome frame is still in very good condition and the upholstery has been renewed with black Manchester rib fabric and new foam. Material: chromed tubular steel, wood, fabric and Bakelite armrests. Dimensions: h x w x d 75 x 60 x 71 cm, seat height 43 cm. Source: Book Gispen, serial products 1923-1960, page 133.
