About this vintage design furniture
A sophisticated set of Bubble Glass wall sconces designed by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. A design Classic, the ambergold color of the hand blown glass gives a wonderful and warm glow. Especially with the brass base for the glass. Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki between, 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. The set is of very good quality and in excellent vintage condition with a perfect performance.
