Set of 4 vintage chairs 391 All Purpose by L.Ercolani for Ercol, 1960s

Set of four 391 All Purpose chairs designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol. Designed in 1958, they exude simplicity, elegance and timelessness. They are constructed with classic turned beech legs set in a slatted elm seat and a backrest that sets them apart. The top is framed with a slightly curved piece of beech from which two bars descend to fit into the seat and three thinner central bars that go down to one of the leg crossbars. They are in very good condition as they have been completely polished and finished with colourless beeswax, respecting the natural tone and shine of their combination of woods.
