Set of 4 vintage bistro chairs by Thonet, 1920

Set of 4 bistro chairs from the vintage Thonet brand circa 1920. The labels have disappeared with time but there is no doubt about their origin. This is a more elaborate bistro model than the classic round seat. Here the seat is almost square and the wood is curved and intertwined under the seat. Cane seat still in good condition. One of the 4 has a very slightly distended cane (see picture) but still very strong. The wood shows traces of use and a patina consistent with age and use.
