About this vintage design furniture
Truly Scandinavian mid-century modern free-standing wall unit in teak. This 3-bay modular shelving system "Ergo" with four cabinets and a chest of drawers was designed by John Texmon for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1970s. Slightly curved cabinets make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand looking statement. This set includes: 2 cabinets with sliding doors (H: 42 cm x W: 85 cm x D: 34 cm) 1 chest of 3 drawers (H: 42cm x W: 85cm x D: 35 cm) drawers height: 9 cm 1 cabinet with sliding doors (H: 42 cm x W: 85 cm x D: 29 cm) 1 cabinet with glass sliding doors (H: 42 cm x W: 85 cm x D: 29 cm) 5 shelves 24 cm deep 4 teak support legsrails 200 cm long There is small age typical wear such as shallow scratches, small imperfections, or light patina. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition especially after cleaning it and coating with an additional layer of Danish Oil. Dimensions of the layout shown on photos: H: 200cm x W: 265cm x D: 35 cm. Minimal ground clearance: 24 cm
