Mid century formica desk by Schreiber, 1970s

Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schreiber, Schreiber furniture is an interesting British success story. The Company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling G Plan E Gomme and other famous names. At one time they had 280 Schreiber Furniture Centre shops throughout UK. This is a very rare Schreiber desk. Unusually it mixes their trademark formica wood grain veneer with a light grey laminate desk top and alcove lining. In amazing condition.
