About this vintage design furniture
A nice two seater sofa sleeping bench by Dutch designer Coen de Vries, manufactured by Devo in the Netherlands around 1950. The piece has a nice minimalist style. The square black lacquered metal frame holds the cushions that create seating and backrest. The sides of the frame can be extended, and by placing the back cushions on these extensions the sofa transforms into a guest bed The cushions are upholstered in beautiful beige yellow fabric that contrasts nicely to the dark frame. A beautiful find of vintage design that will be a valuable addition to the decor or guest room It remains in good, vintage condition with new upholstery and minor wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
