About this vintage design furniture
Globe lamp "D-2000" by designer Frank Ligtelijn for Raak Amsterdam, Netherlands 1960s. Adjustable brown smoked glass globe with aluminium reflector on a chromed steel rod adjustable in height with a clamping screw (110cm - 150cm). Black tinted cast iron three branch base. Good condition with a chip on the edge of the glass (see pictures).

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
